What We Do

The purpose of the chapter is to assist the Foundation in promoting the management of and safeguarding against the extinction of all species of wild sheep native to the continent of North America. The organization is exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service.

How We Fund Conservation

Annual Expo and Raffles

Our sole source of funding is our annual expo and convention historically located in and around the Lancaster Pennsylvania area. While we are a chapter of the Wild Sheep Foundation, our emphasis is on all things hunting and we strive to have something for everyone.

Through our committees and Board of Directors, we have complete control over which projects we fund, and while we work in conjunction with the Wild Sheep Foundation (our parent organization), we maintain our freedom to fund those projects we feel are most deserving.

Grants In Aid

Supporting Conservation Across North America

Since the inception of the chapter, we are proud to have raised over $3,600,000 to support our mission of Putting and Keeping Wild Sheep on the Mountain. Through our Grant and Aid request program, we distribute our raised funds to qualified 501 (C) (3) organizations.
